To the Editor:

A big thank you to all the blood donors that showed up at the Pine Island Moose Lodge Blood Drive Saturday, Dec. 12. We collected 41 units of blood for the Lee Memorial Health System Blood Bank.

Thank you also to Hutch and the Pine Island Moose Lodge for hosting the drive, to TIB and Southwest Capital Banks for advertising the drive on their bank marquees and the Pine Island Eagle for its article advertising the drive.

Pine Island rocks!
