Dear editor:
As one of the crew of Pine Islanders who helped put on the Painting Out Loud with Leoma Lovegrove Commemorative 9-11 event, I want to salute members of the Matlacha-Pine Island Fire Department for taking part via video. I also was impressed to see Fire Chief Dave Bradley at the event in full dress uniform. They did us proud.
