A successful benefit

To the Editor:

I would like to give a great big thank you to everyone who came out to The Bob Birch Memorial Benefit on Aug. 29. A good time was had by all to help out a wonderful family.

I would like to give a special thanks to all the bands that donated their time to come out and make this event a success. Also a big thanks to all the local businesses and people that helped make this event happen, we couldn’t have done it with out you: Bert’s Bar and Grill, Moretti’s, Bubba’s Roadhouse, Mulletville, Jackie’s Restaurant, Ragged Ass Saloon, Pine Island Chamber of Commerce, Matlacha Hookers, Matlacha Mariners, Sandy Hook Restaurant, Olde Fish Huse Marina, Di Cicco’s Market and Deli, American Legion, Budweiser, Walt and Patty Tumiati, The Dobbins Family and, last but not least, The Corn Bread Mafia.
