Thank you to the Eagle
To the Editor:
I would personally like to thank the Pine Island Eagle for the picture and article you wrote last week of The American Legion, Post 136 Auxiliary, receiving the District 13 awards that they so justly deserve.
The American Legion Auxiliary of Post 136 works tirelessly and selflessly to assist veterans, charities and the Pine Island community. Post 136 is very proud of their accomplishments and acknowledge the debt of gratitude we all owe to our “ladies!” These awards are for what they do for all of us. When you see one of our “ladies” doing their best for you, take a moment to shake their hand or give them a hug and thank them!
