Stimulus funds for a bridge in Stuart?

To the Editor:

It would be nice if our state reps would look at where a bridge is really necessary instead of plunking money on something that really isn’t necessary. Why aren’t our commissioners not fighting for the money to build a bridge from St. James to Fort Myers so islanders would have another exit off the Island. On second thought, that might be too logical.
