About Chinese drywall

I have been buying and re-building homes in Ohio and Florida for 40 years. Many of them are permeated with animal odors. I seal the walls with two very generous coats of oil-based Kills. There is a latex Kills but that doesn’t work as well. I also use two very heavy coats of a product called Eco Seal, which is a non-silicone concrete sealer. You would also have to seal electrical fixtures, where the wires come in, with a good silicone calk.
It might even be a benefit in acting as an insect repellant for termites, roaches, etc., but I don’t know.
Just a suggestion.
