Thank you to our Bokeelia neighbors

To the Editor:

Tom and I extend a sincere thank you to our neighbors in Bokeelia.

On Monday, March 16, our neighbor spotted the boxer that killed our cat once again roaming free in our neighborhood without any supervision. Neighbor alerted neighbor and all were on the lookout for the brindle-colored boxer and the tan great dane. Animal control was contacted and worked together with deputies from the Sheriff’s Department to locate and capture the dogs.

The process has begun. At least for the time being, people and pets in Bokeelia will be safe.
