As we near our one year anniversary, we would like to take this opportunity to thank the people of Pine Island and Matlacha for making it possible.
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed being residents ourselves of Pine Island for the past five years, appreciating the beauty and uniqueness of the island. And now as business owners we are honored to be active participants in the community.
We love our local customers with whom we feel an instant rapport just because we both choose such a place to live. We love our part-time resident customers who share their stories of strange-far away places like Newmansville, Illinois and Mountain Grove, Missouri. It’s the diversity of Pine Island that makes it so special.
We would also like to thank the business owners of all of Greater Pine Island who work diligently to promote this paradise not solely for their own gain, but for the benefit of all who live and work here. Even in competition, Pine Island takes care of its own. Its spirit is resilient and despite a struggling economy, the heart of the community remains strong.
