To the Editor:
This is a note to thank everyone that participated in our recent Fall Raffle and Book Sale. We not only want to thank the Friends members who helped out with the sales but also those individuals that donated the prizes and all those great book! Special thanks goes to Rita Appel (Book Sale Chair) and Karen Hanson (Raffle Chair). They and their co-workers made both fund-raising events well organized and fun! The rewards reaped were many and surpassed our previous year’s fall sale and raffle. Congratulations to all!
Further, we would be especially remiss if we did not also include a special thanks to our local author, Robert Macomber, who donated his collection of military history books for our future book sales! Thank you so much for your generosity.
May everyone have a very happy holiday season with family and friends.
