Collecting old cell phones
To the Editor:
I have just been informed that the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is still collecting cell phones for the Victims of Domestic Violence. I have two phones I am turning over to them next weekend at the Pondella Substation. I need to know if anyone else is interested in donating their old cell phones and battery chargers to this needy cause. As we all know, during this time of year there are more Domestic Violence cases filed. These phones are used to call 911 directly and can’t be used for any other purpose. I appreciate your help. If anyone wants to donate they can leave the phones at the address below. Thank you all and Merry Christmas.
