A Thank You note
To the Editor:
Pine Island is a spiritual place that soothes my soul. I want to thank it and Mother Nature for each and every day. Thanks to the Catholic church for their lovely chimes they play. I listen while the curlew and spoonbills do their fly-by each evening to the colorful sun as it heads west for an awesome showdown over the lolly pines. Thanks to the hoot owls that serenade me through the night, and to the stars. Wow what a show, all shining just for me. Thank you. To the osprey and catbirds for awakening me for another day on paradise. And, oh, how I love the food she provides, mullet/roe, oysters, blue crab, avocados and the pink grapefruit for that perfect cocktail. These are just a few things I am so thankful for. Only on Pine Island. Happy Thanksgiving.
