Tom Quentin Carpenter

Tom Quentin Carpenter was born on April 13, 1936 in Mercer County Ohio, son of the late George F. and Wanda Shimp Carpenter. Also proceeding Mr. Tom Carpenter in death was his brother: Jerry B Carpenter. (wife, Joy still surviving)
He is survived by a brother: Dick M. (wife, Carole) Carpenter of Sun Lakes Arizona and a sister: Rebecca J Adams (husband, Ray) of Tempe, Arizona. Also, surviving is his daughter, Susan K. Carpenter of Bokeelia, FL. He has 2 grandchildren: Lee Hagan and Dana Hagan of Bokeelia. Tom also had 4 great-grandchildren: Kyler Smith, Victoria Hagan, Alex Hagan, and Amelia Darby.
Tom attended Celina High School in the early-50’s and was an outstanding football player. Served in the US Army infantry, and he also spent later years of service in various South American countries doing survey work.
Tom was an avid fisherman, a long time residence of Pine Island, FL and loved the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Services for Tom will be held Saturday, November 23rd at Captain Con’s Pier at sunrise. (approx 6:30) Bring your fishing poles and/or come by boat!
