Charles John Madden
Charlie to so many who knew him was a full time Pine Island resident since 2005. He was born October 15, 1949 in Geneva, Il. And spent most of his life in the Chicago area. Charlie worked for General Mills for 37 years as a first class maintenance mechanic.
Those who knew Charlie enjoyed his quick wit, kind humor and his ever present smile. A man with a personality and heart to match died suddenly on November 20th at the age of 69.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Celia, a daughter Dana Rickard (Glenn), a son Charles Madden (Kelly), 4 grandchildren Bethany, Corey, Keara and Corinne, 4 great grandchildren as well as many adored friends.
Charlie was loved and will be missed by family and friends. God has a golf cart with his name on it.
