Elizabeth (Libby) (toot-toot) Proue
Elizabeth (Libby) (toot-toot) Proue, 98, of St. James City and more recently a resident of Gulf Coast Village in Cape Coral, passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013. She was born Aug. 27, 1915, near Lancaster, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Proue, in 1986.
She lived for many years in St. James City and was a good friend to all of her neighbors. She enjoyed life to its fullest.
She is survived by her stepson, Paul of Dade City, Fla.; three granddaughters, Therese Gotto of Sacramento, Calif., Darlene Proue of Ocala, Fla., and Laura Purks of Cape Coral; and seven great-grandchildren.
She is forever remembered and will live in our hearts always.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
