Rosaline A. Giardina
Rosaline A. Giardina, 85, of Cape Coral passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2013, at her home. She was born Sept. 10, 1927, in Mercer, Pa., to Vincenzo and Dominica Demarco Forcina. She moved to Cape Coral in 1983 coming from Cleveland, Ohio. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, boating and camping. She was a communicant of St. Andrew Catholic Church.
She is survived by her loving family, including her sons, Raymond A. (Monica) Giardina and Gary J. (Kathleen) Giardina; grandchildren, Annette (Michael) Harber, Renee (Robert “Chad”) Bishop, Jennifer (Ryan) Leo, Lynn Giardina; great-grandchildren, Anna, Anderson, Teagan, Scarlett, Jackson, Addison, Paige and Adagio; brother, James (Lillian) Forcina; and brother-in-law, Salvatore Bucchieri.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in 2008; sisters, Sundrina (Albert) Dire, Mary Fratianne, Delphine Bucchieri, Elizabeth (Samuel) Kravitz; and brother, Louis (Josephine) Forcina.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday, May 30, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Cape Coral. The family receive friends at Coral Ridge Funeral Home. Burial followed the mass at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
