Joyce Tucker
Joyce Tucker, 84, passed away May 1, 2013, at Gulf Coast Village in Cape Coral. She was born in Danvers, Mass., Dec. 8, 1928. After graduating from Danvers High School, she married her husband, Joseph E. Tucker, and moved to Beverly, Mass., where she raised six children.
She worked for many years at Fidelity Investments in Boston, before retiring to Pine Island in 1988.
She loved her home on Pine Island and enjoyed the many birds and varied wildlife that would come to her backyard. She also loved her three cats, who were her constant companions.
She was a friend of Bill W. and was proud of her sobriety of over 35 years.
She was predeceased by her oldest son, Jeffrey Tucker.
She leaves behind a brother, David Hilton of Arizona and a sister, Carol Talbot of Beverly Mass.
She is also leaves five children, Linda Tucker of Peabody, Mass., Robin Campbell of Pine Island, Joseph E. Tucker III of Greenfield Township, Maine, and Dale Lyons and Kim Carbonneau, both of Ipswich, Mass. Also, four grandchildren, Donovan Wildgoose of Boca Raton, Nathan Campbell of Manchester, Mass., and Rachel and Elizabeth Carbonneau of Ipswich, Mass.; and three great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Hunter and Olivia of Boca Raton.
