James L. Doling Sr.
James L. Doling Sr., 73, who was born Aug. 24, 1939, in Herkimer, N.Y., went to the Lord peacefully Tuesday, April 2, 2013, from complications from melanoma. He came to Pine Island in 1954, bought property and became a permanent resident in 1976.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Sheryl; son, Jimmy Jr. (Megan); daughters, Pam (Randy), Chrissy and Meghan (Scott); stepson, Jeremy (Delores) Gorka; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and dearest friend, Dave (Marion) Glick.
He was a proud NASCAR fan.

He was a member of SAL #136, VFW #4335, Elks #2606 and Pine Island Moose #1954.
