Dorothy “Dottie” Lucinda Young
Dorothy “Dottie” Lucinda Young, 61, was deceased Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Welch, W.Va., Dec. 23, 1950, to William Prince and Audrey Kelly.
She is survived by her son, Dameon Young; daughter-in-law, Rose Nash; brother, William Prince; brother, Edward Prince; sister-in-law, Linda Jo Prince; and numerous other family members and friends.
She was graduated from Washington and Lee High School in Arlington, Va. She made her career of working with individuals who have special needs and disabilities. She completed numerous specialized trainings and certificate programs in home health, Alzheimer’s, assisting the elderly and developmental disabilities.
Her hobbies included beadwork, needlecraft, writing, baking, and candy making. She will be missed.
