Carol Ann Brooks, 70, of St. James City died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012. She was born Carol A. Roades in Wilmington, N.C.
Activities and hobbies that she enjoyed included gardening, bingo and working in helping others through supervising the “Feed the Family” program at Pine Island Community Church.
Survivors include her husband, John Virgil Brooks of St. James City; daughter, Linda Brooks of the Florida Keys; daughter, Chrissy Verdier of Georgia; and son, John V. Brooks Jr. of St. James City.
She also had four granddaughters, one great-grandson and two great-granddaughters.
