James Edward Awis
James Edward Awis, 46, of Cape Coral passed away Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011. He was born on Feb. 6, 1965 in Detroit. He was the proprietor of Awis Auto Service in Cape Coral. He enjoyed boating, fishing and scuba diving.
He is survived by his loving family, including his parents, John and Joann Awis of Cape Coral; sister, Janet (Todd) Russell of Cape Coral; brother, John (Debra) Awis of Chicago; nieces and nephews, Tina Russell, Lauren Russell, Andrew Awis, Sarah Awis, Nathan Awis; and grand-niece, Ashlyn Russell.
Visitation was. Thursday, Dec. 8, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Road, Cape Coral. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, Dec. 9, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd., S., Cape Coral, followed by burial at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
