Steven Charles Ferko

Steven Charles Ferko died at his home in Bokeelia, Florida on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011.
Steven served his country in World War II. He was a member of the VFW and the America Legion. Steven was a life long member of the Ohio Carpenters Union. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.
He was born to Steven and Frannie Ferko on Sept. 20, 1925, in Hazelwood, Penn., the fourth of seven children. He was raised in Kilbourne and lived in the area most of his life before retiring to Florida in 2002.
Steven and Lucille Ferko raised eight children. He is survived by Jim, June, Dick, Steve, Miriam, Linda, Vicki and Susan; siblings, Harold, Ken and Nancy; and many grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his second wife, Lee Knight, and third wife, Madeleine Landry.
