Rosemary B. Ogonowski
Rosemary B. Ogonowski, 78, of Bokeelia passed away Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011. She was born July 21, 1933, in Albany, N.Y., to Vincent DePaul and Ann Carey Martin. She has been coming to the area for over 20 years and a permanent resident of Bokeelia for 15 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Catholic Church, V.F.W. and Moose all on Pine Island.
She is survived by her loving family, including her children, Michael (Marilyn) Ogonowski of Jacksonville, Laura (Edward) Poth of Marathon, N.Y., and Michael (Donna) Ogonowski of Stafford, Va.; sister, Barbara (Jack) Sheehy of Albany; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; niece, Lisa Payne; nephew, Rocco Oppedisano.
She was predeceased by her husband, Victor Ogonowski; daughter, Kimberly Waterson; and brother, Vincent DePaul Martin Jr.
A Memorial Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, 12175 Stringfellow, Rd., Bokeelia. Interment will be at Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands, N.Y.
