Rosella “Rose” Mae St. Clair, 81, of Bokeelia, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011. She was born in Port Clinton, Ohio on May 9, 1929.

Rose was active with the St. James Hobby Club for over 25 years and also an active member of the United Methodist Church of Pine Island.

Rose went back to school at the age of 75 to get her high school diploma. Rose enjoyed playing dominos, crocheting blankets, making cards and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving family, including her sister, Lillian Faustini and brother-in-law Buck Faustini; her two daughters, Carolyn Scheer and Rosanne Chapman; son-in-laws, Red Vorhees and Thomas Chapman; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles (Peck) and Gladys Asbell, loving husband of 50 years, Theodore (Pete) St. Clair and great-grandson, Aarson McCall Smith.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to any charity in her name. A memorial services was held on Jan. 14, at the United Methodist Church of Pine Island.
