Larry F. “Hutch” Hutchins

Larry F. “Hutch” Hutchins, 74 of St. James City, Fl passed away on Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral. He was born on May 21, 1936 in Marietta, Illinois to Carl and Violet Brush Hutchins. Hutch was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He has lived here for over 25 years moving from Marietta. He worked at the Hiram Walker Distillery. Hutch is a Life Member of Pine Island Moose Lodge 1954 and was Past Governor and Past District President of Manatee and a Pilgrim. Hutch was a member of the Pine Island V.F.W. 4353 and the American Legion Post 136. He enjoyed fishing with his friends.
He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 27 years, Rae Ann Hutchins; children, Gay Lynn Betson of St. David, IL, Tammy Davidson of Peoria, IL and Teresa Ochadleous of St. James City; granddaughter, Brandi Betson; sister, Betty King; nephews, Curtis, Tim and Leland.
There was a celebration of Larry’s life at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, at the Pine Island Moose Lodge, 8903 Stringfellow Rd.
