Jean Kerr Ritchie Le Ber

Jean Kerr Ritchie Le Ber passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 after an extended illness. Jeannie loved life and she loved her children; Jeanne (Mimzi) of Salt Lake City, Utah; Eve of Staten Island, N.Y.; Peter and his wife, Susan of Pasadena, Calif.; Patricia (Mimi) and her husband Bobby of Pine Island and Tony and his wife Kathleen of Erie, Pa., and step-son, Donald of Buffalo, N.Y.; grandchildren; Red William, Ruby, Lauren, Luke, Lilly and Rose. Jeannie had many special friends on Pine Island who were very dear to her.

Over the course of her adult life, Jeannie lived in Great Neck, N.Y.; Amagansett, N.Y.; Mangrove Key, Bahamas; Fort Myers and Pine Island. She loved to travel and Africa was one of her favorite trips.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her husband H. Peter Le Ber and special friends, Richard Edwards and Jim Davidson.

Family message: Many thanks to Jeannie’s health care providers at Coral Trace Rehabilitation Center, Cape Coral Hospital and Hope Hospice who provided excellent and loving care to our mother. Jeannie’s children appreciate all the love and support from her Pine Island friends.

At Jeannie’s request, there will be no service.
