Chris Bennett Harlin

Chris Bennett Harlin, 61, of St. James City, FL died on Feb. 23, 2010

at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral, FL. He was born on July 4, 1948 in Columbus,

GA a child of Robert Leman and Betty Jane (Arrant) Harlin.

An Army veteran, Chris was a resident of Pine Island since 1995 and was

employed as a crane operator: he also helped his wife with their tile and

marble business. Chris was also a member of the VFW, American Legion and

the Moose, all on Pine Island. A free spirit, he loved to sail.

Chris is survived by his wife, Diane T. (Plourde) Harlin, his son, Robby

B. (Tracie) Harlin of Cape Coral, his brother, Keith R. (Moida) Harlin of

Brandon, FL and his sister, Lydia H. (Patrick) Peldner of Houson, TX.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010 at 7:00 PM

in the Grace Methodist Church, 13 SE 21st Place, Cape Coral. In lieu of

flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the family, c/o 2117 NW 2nd Avenue,
