Jencie “Sonny” Bowyer Jr.

Sonny Bowyer, 51, passed away July 31, 2009, in Sarasota, after suffering two heart attacks and a stroke. He had been a resident of Pine Island, North Fort Myers and most recently of Sarasota.

Preceding him in death were, his father, Jencie Bowyer Sr; mother, Evelyn Owen Bowyer; two brothers, Dewayne Bowyer and Rocky Glenn Bowyer; and sisters, Anna Lynn Bowyer Williams and Marjorie Gillihan King.

He leaves behind one brother, Carl (Sandy) Bowyer of North Fort Myers; three sisters, Drema (Sissy) Bowyer Lindquist of Alabama, Estelle Gillihan Rowell of Alabama and North Fort Myers, formerly of Bokeelia, Patricia Gillihan Padgett of Alabama; and nephews and nieces, Scott Darna of Bokeelia, Rebecca Darna Stokes of Bokeelia, Johnny Padgett, Margie Padgett Brown, Melissa Padgett of Alabama, Nickoli Lindquist of Alabama and Rocky and Sara Bowyer of Tennessee.

Memorial services to be held in Alabama.
