Shirley Ann Law
Shirley Ann Law, 78, of Bokeelia, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2009, at Hope Hospice North in Cape Coral. She was born June 15, 1931, in Watertown, N.Y., a daughter of Fred and Maude Russell, now deceased. She was the widow of Arthur F. Law Jr., who died Feb. 10, 2007.
She was a member of the Pine Island American Legion Auxiliary, Pine Island Elks and Moose Lodges Auxiliaries and had resided on the island for over 30 years.
She was a talented painter doing both water colors and oils.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Uhlar of Cape Coral; sons, Mark R. King of Massena, N.Y., Jason R. King of Bokeelia, Terry Law of Washington Crossing, Pa., and Dennis Law of Quincy, Mass.; her grandchildren, Shannon Koenig, Nichole Uhlar, Christopher King, Alyssa King and LeAnn King; four great-grandchildren, a brother, Wetzel Perry of Bokeelia; and sisters, Dorothy LaHart and Betty Jackson, both of Bokeelia.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Coral Ridge Funeral Home of Cape Coral.
