Dolores Mae Mugerdichian
Dolores Mae Mugerdichian, 65, of Cape Coral, went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 7, 2009, at Hope Hospice after a long illness surrounded by family.
She was born Oct. 25, 1943, in Wyandotte, Mich., the daughter of Virginia Kozak and the late Stanley Kozak. She was an identical twin to Carol Ghist and one of six siblings. On July 26, 1962, she married her former husband of St. James City, Fla., who survives.
She came to St. James City in 1973 where she was a long-time resident. She worked for the St. James City Post Office for many years and had many friends. She had a passion for playing bingo and bowling and, loved being with her children.
She is survived by three daughters, Gloria Kirk, Lynn Cross, Virginia Rowell; one son, Eddie Mugerdichian; nine grandchildren, Richard and Kaylie Kirk, Justina and Stephen Cross, Chris Jr., Samantha and Katrissa Rowell, and Eddie and Megan Mugerdichian; one great-grandchild, Evan Mugerdichian; and one soon to be with us, Coleman Darna Jr.
Services are being held Saturday, May 23, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home in Cape Coral at 11 a.m. All friends and family are lovingly welcome to attend. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Her strong sense of independence and strength will be with us forever.
Her family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Hope Hospice of Cape Coral.
