John Eastburn
John Eastburn, 89, a long-time resident of Pine Island and Delaware, passed away on March 22, 2009. He was a past commander of the DAV in Delaware. He was instrumental in starting VFW Post 136 on Pine Island and was active in many organizations.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; sister, Esther (Robert) DuHummel; son, Carl; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial was in Delaware.
