Minnie Gustafson
Minnie Gustafson passed away peacefully at Hospice House, Feb. 4, 2009, at the age of 90. She lived in Matlacha for 30 years and prior to that in Brevort, Mich., where she and her late husband, Elmer, owned and operated Gustafson’s Resort and also Gustafson’s Motel in Matlacha. She was a member of Fisher’s of Men Lutheran Church, W.O.T.M. #1843 and the V.F.W. Auxiliary 4353.
She was a generous and hard working woman, who always lived life to its fullest. While those she left behind will forever miss her, we take comfort knowing that she was warmly welcomed by many loved ones in Heaven.
She is survived by her children, Bev Pennington and Bob (Joan) Gustafson; her five grandchildren; and her 11 great grandchildren.
A memorial will be held at Fisher’s of Men Lutheran Church, Saturday, April 4. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Home, 2430 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL 33909, or preferred charity.
