Ruth Ellen (Duncan) Pomeroy
Ruth Ellen (Duncan) Pomeroy, 71, of St James City, formerly Birch Run, Mich., passed away peacefully Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, from a stroke. Born in Flint, Mich., she married husband Robert Leroy Pomeroy in 1955 of Montrose, Mich. She moved to Birch Run where they lived with their four children, Rogert (Jennifer) Norman, Sandra Kaye (William Jr.) Hawley, Becky Lynn Lengart and William Lewis. She will be greatly missed by her six grandchildren, Craig (Kathleen) Landon, Brent (Rebecca) Patrick, Emilee Kaelyn Hawley, Eric (Lauren) Pomeroy, Chelsey Jo, Carly Michelle Albosta and two great grandchildren, Hunter Patrick and Holden Phillip Hawley, as well as countless wonderful friends and neighbors.
After retirement in 1987, they moved to Pine Island Cove, Florida, where she loved crocheting, playing bingo and shopping at Wal-Mart.
