Police executing a search warrant in southeast Cape Coral on Friday charged three people with possession of marijuana with intent to sell/distribute after several baggies containing the drug were found in the home.

Detectives with the Cape Coral Police Department’s Vice, Intelligence, & Narcotics Unit served the warrant at 1810 S.E. 14th Terrace with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Task Force.

“In plain view within several rooms of the house were several vacuum-sealed baggies of marijuana,” a release from the CCPD issued Tuesday states.

Detectives found 764 grams of marijuana in one bedroom, 1,097 grams in another, and 48 grams in the kitchen, officials said.

Kristopher Despres, 27, Stephanie Pineda, 25, and Rodney Gay, 28, were all placed under arrest for possession of marijuana with intent to sell/deliver, and all three were transported to the Lee County Jail, officials said.

All three posted bond on Friday. Bond for each was set at $5,000.
