South Cape sets varied holiday schedule of events
Three popular events are coming up quickly in the South Cape:
Nov. 25: Black Friday Trolley Event & Little Black Dress Party, Nov. 25, 7-11 p.m.
Take a night off from shopping -?win your gifts instead of buying them -and board the trolleys in South Cape. Travel to 12 locations to enjoy a specialty drink for just $2.50 at each location. Get your passport stamped at each place (no purchase required) and enter to win a 50″ LED TV or other prizes. You can also win prizes on the trolleys, including swag and gift cards to local spots. Women who wear a black dress could win a fine necklace from Zak’s Jewelry.
No purchases necessary to enter the contests, but you do have to visit all locations to fill up your passport in order to enter.
Santa will be in front of Dixie Roadhouse for this event, at a SCHEA photo booth.
Advance tickets are $10 and can be purchased online or at participating locations. Designated Driver tickets are available only at BackStreets Sports Bar. They cost $10 and include a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage upon request at each location.

Nov. 26: South Cape Sidewalk Sale – Small Business Saturday!
Black Friday is about holiday shopping. Small Business Saturday is about shopping for holiday gifts and decor locally. Join business in the South Cape from 11a.m. to 5 p.m. as local businesses set up tables outside their establishments. You’ll find lots of unique gifts, special offers and services. If you visit at least 12 locations you can enter to win one of the 20-plus prizes, valued at $20 or more each.
This is an all-ages event, so bring the kids and your camera – Santa will be there and there’s no charge to take pictures.
Dec. 31: New Year’s Eve Trolley Event
Ring in 2017 in South Cape style! Board the trolleys to celebrate with your friends and neighbors. Travel to various locations to enjoy a specialty drink for just $2.50 at each. Get your passport stamped at each place (no purchase required) and you can enter to win a gift basket filled with goodies. You can also win prizes on the trolleys, including swag and gift cards to local spots.
The line up currently includes BackStreets Sports Bar, Cigar Bar, Cruisers, The Dek, Dixie Roadhouse, Ralph’s Place, Tiki Hut and Two Amigos. More will be announced soon.
A newly-added feature, be sure to have your digital picture taken at the NYE photo booth!
This 21+ event is limited to 1,000 people. Tickets are $10 and are currently available only online. Designated Driver tickets will be available at BackStreets Sports Bar beginning Dec. 1, and will include a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage at each location upon request.
