Beast cancer fundraiser set for Oct. 28
The second annual Having a Blast…Make it Last breast cancer fundraiser is set for Friday, Oct. 28, from 4-8 pm. at Cape Coral VFW Post 8463.
The fundraiser will raise funds for Living Beyond Breast Cancer Care (lbbc.org) and Partners for Breast Cancer Care (pbcc.org).
This fundraiser is organized by two women, Theresa Morosco and Joanne Avard, who are currently fighting metastatic breast cancer.
“We know what breast cancer patients go through,” the organizers said in a joint prepared statement. “WE WANT TO HELP. Our goal is to raise money and awareness to assist others who are fighting breast cancer.”
The event will have music by John Nichols, Mobile Music an appearance from The Calendar Girls. There will be fun, festivities, food, raffles and education as well as numerous raffle prizes.These include prizes from: Wildcat Run Country Club; The Diamond District; LaQuinta Inn Bonita Springs; The Veranda Restaurant; Fathoms; Overtimes; Cenos any more.
The fundraiser is open to the public.
