New voter information cards for all Lee County voters
Due to the mandated legislative redistricting that became effective after the March Presidential Preference Primary, all Lee county voter will receive new Voter Information Cards. The Supervisor of Elections Office began mailing out new cards on Monday.
The new Voter Information Cards are the “official” cards with all the current information. The cards mailed before March were temporary and should be destroyed. The Voter Information Card may not be used as a form of identification at the polls.
The Voter Information Card has the following information specific to each voter:
Polling Location
Precinct
Congressional District
State Senate District
State House District
County Commission District
School Board District *
Fire Control District
City if applicable
*All voters are eligible to vote on School Board District 6 and 7 contests
