FDLE arrests Cape Coral man for child pornography
Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement have arrested Jose Enrique Ortega, 39, of Cape Coral, on 20 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of promotion of child pornography.
FDLE agents served a search warrant Thursday at Ortega’s apartment and found a desktop computer that contained hundreds of digital images of child pornography, the agency said in a release issued Thursday afternoon.
Ortega was booked into the Lee County Jail where he remained as of Friday morning.Total bond was set at $110,000.
The case will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 20th Judicial Circuit.
