Fort Myers Beach Access No. 41 to close temporarily for maintenance
Fort Myers Beach Access No. 41, located just south of Pink Shell Beach Resort, will be closed temporarily from Monday, Jan. 27, through Thursday, Jan. 30, for routine boardwalk maintenance. The access will reopen at 7 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, weather permitting.
Fort Myers Beach Access No. 40, just south of Bowditch Point Park, will remain open. Beach access No. 40 and 41 are foot traffic only.
Bowditch Pont Park offers paid parking of $2 per hour. The park includes restrooms, pavilions, grills, boardwalk, walking trails, showers and a paddle craft launch.
