Snow will grace the Marina at Cape Harbour this weekend for the kiddos to enjoy during the fourth annual Holiday Magic and Snow Festival.

The festival will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. tonight, and Saturday, Nov. 16, outside of Fathoms Restaurant & Bar at Cape Harbour.

Fathoms Restaurant & Bar co-owner Valeria Zanella Voisin said Santa Claus will make an appearance both nights to take photographs with the children. On Friday he will visit from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Friday night also will feature a bounce house for the kids, as well as live music from 6 to 10 p.m. with Silver Sneakers. She said they will have a collection of toys for Bahamas Toys for Kids fundraiser.

Saturday night, there will be “snow.” There will be a snow slide and snow playground for the children, $5 for unlimited visits.

“The only thing that is charged is the slide (and playground),” she said. “All the rest is free. The music, face painting, arts and crafts and Santa is all free.”

The night also will feature art, a crafts table, face painting and live music with Wildfire from 6 to 10 p.m. Kona Ice will also be on site, as well as vendors promoting their items.

“It’s going to be a big night and hopefully a lot of kids around,” she said.

Zanella Voisin said every year the festival grows with more people in attendance. She said she enjoys putting it on because the kids have fun visiting Santa and playing in the snow.

“It’s a really nice family event,” Zanella Voisin said
