The School District of Lee County will open its doors Oct. 22 for the largest public display of student artwork in the state of Florida.

Designs and Dreams of Young Artists XXVII showcases the work of more than 100 students in elementary, middle and high school.

The exhibit is an open house for students, parents, employees, families and the public to enjoy artwork created by students.

School Board members and Superintendent Dr. Greg Adkins will be available to meet with the student artists and offer their congratulations from 5-6 p.m., before the start of their regular School Board meeting.

The hallways of the Lee County Public Education Center at 2855 Colonial Blvd., in Fort Myers, will stay open until 7 p.m. to continue showcasing the student’s artwork.
