Storm Smart to donate a portion of product proceeds to Collier-Lee Honor Flight program
Storm Smart is donating $100 of every storm protection systems and products purchase – valued at $2,500 or more – to Collier-Lee Honor Flight.
This initiative to support the nonprofit that transports veterans to Washington, D.C., to visit memorials runs through the end of August. On Friday, Aug. 30, starting at 7 a.m., Storm Smart will host the 2nd annual Tee-Off for Take-Off Golf Tournament at Coral Oaks Golf Course, 1800 N.W. 28th Ave., in Cape Coral.
Proceeds from this foursome scramble event – which includes lunch and an awards ceremony – will further contribute to Collier-Lee Honor Flight.
Storm Smart has been involved with this military-inspired effort for the past three years. In 2018, Executive Chairman Brian Rist and his team raised $80,000 – the estimated cost to fly one plane of veterans to the nation’s capital.
