A three-day event featuring vessels, vehicles and more will return to Cape Coral on Friday.

The 10th Annual Water & Wheels will be held from noon to 10 p.m. at Cape Harbour, picking up on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and again on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be a boat show, a car and motorcycle show and an art show, along with live entertainment, vendors and more on site.

Admission and parking are free.

“This is sort of our spring event that we do,” Timothy Hoffman, the owner of Fathoms Restaurant & Bar, said. “It’s a great event in Cape Harbour – it’s a great spot and a great weekend activity.”

On Friday, the boat show will run from noon to 6 p.m.

“It’s a great opportunity to climb in a boat and explore,” he said.

There will be more than a dozen major dealers on hand.

“You’re going to have a little of everything,” Hoffman said. “Inland, pontoon and offshore boats.”

From 6 to 10 p.m., local band Lemongrass will perform.

On Saturday, the boat show will continue from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, the Harbour View Gallery will showcase gallery and local artists with its “Art in the Pavilion” show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

From 6 to 10 p.m., the band N2L Trio will take the stage.

“They’re sort of rock ‘n’ roll,” he said.

On Sunday, the boat show will return from 9 a.m. to noon.

The Classic Car Show is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“It’s a great spectator sport to walk around and check out all these cars,” Hoffman said.

As of Tuesday, approximately 60 vehicles had registered for the show.

“We’re anticipating over 100 cars this year,” he said.

Hoffman added that last year’s event featured about 60 to 70 vehicles.

“We’ve added a lot more categories, including motorcycles, this year,” he said.

Rounding out the music, Roger Young of Cinder and Soapy Tuna will play from 2 to 6 p.m.

Hoffman estimated that 2,000 to 3,000 people total attended last year.

“We’re expecting in upwards of several thousands of people throughout the whole weekend,” he said.
