Butch Patrick to bring dragsters from ‘The Munsters’ to Shell Factory Cruise-In Monday
Due to the overwhelming success of the Shell Factory Cruise-In on Mondays from 4-7 p.m., national celebrity Butch Patrick, best known for his role as Eddie Munster from the 1964 TV show “The Munsters,” will appear at the next Cruise-In Jan. 18.
“The Munsters” was a story about a family living at 1313 Mockingbird Lane… Dad Herman looks like Frankenstein’s monster; mom Lily and her dad, Grandpa, are vampires; and son Eddie is a werewolf. Marilyn, their niece, is the odd one out — she’s just a normal pretty girl, snd the family doesn’t like to call attention to her unfortunate looks.
Patrick will be at the Cruise-In with replicas of the two dragsters from the TV show: Grandpa’s Drag-u-la and the Family Munster Koach. He will also sign autographs.
Last Monday, Jan. 11, 292 unique, vintage, super sport cars and even a dragster filled the front parking lot on the U.S. 41 side of the Shell Factory.
Capt’n Fishbones, the on-site restaurant, provides the entertainment for the event at the Swamp Bar and Patio featuring the wacky stylings of Chuck Peterson.
The Shell Factory is located 4 miles north of the Caloosahatchee River on U.S. 41. Visit www.shellfactory.com for all the fun things going on at The Shell Factory and Nature Park.
