ArtFest Fort Myers seeking volunteers

ArtFest Fort Myers, Southwest Florida’s premier fine art festival, is seeking volunteers to assume leadership roles as its celebrates the 15th anniversary of this award winning festival.

“Our volunteer leadership team comes from all walks of life,” said Sharon McAllister, executive director, in a prepared statement. “They have fun working together year-round and all festival weekend, to ensure that the professional artists, our sponsors and VIP’s, our volunteers and our visitors all have a great experience at ArtFest Fort Myers.”

The core of the ArtFest Fort Myers volunteer spirit is centered within the teamwork of 45 dedicated Steering Committee Members. With festival experience that spans from 1 to 14 years, this group heads up a variety of activities that make ArtFest Fort Myers unique.

Focused on continually building small groups of like-minded individuals who volunteer and have fun together, ArtFest Fort Myers is in search of those interested in Steering Committee Program opportunities. Current Steering Committee openings include opportunities for people who love: Facebook and other social media channels; interacting with artists or making volunteering fun for others; art education and outreach.
