Cape shooting victim dies
A Cape Coral man shot while dropping a friend off in Fort Myers Sunday evening has died.
Nicholas Willis, 26, passed away Monday nigh at Lee Memorial Hospital where he had been placed on a life support system due to the severity of his injuries, officials said Tuesday morning.
Willis was shot as he got out of his black Chevy Tahoe at the Jones Walker apartments at 2909 Blount Street at 7:58 p.m.
No one else was hurt.
