Roadwork to temporary close portion of Old Pondella Road
Beginning Monday, Nov. 15, through Friday, Nov. 19, motorists should be on alert for a temporary road closure of Old Pondella Road to the east of Del Prado Boulevard. This temporary closure is necessary for crews to perform drainage pipe installation work on Del Prado Boulevard across Old Pondella Road.
Detour: Northbound motorists on Del Prado Boulevard will travel east on S.R. 78 / Pine Island Road, south on Pondella Road and west onto Old Pondella Road.
Advance warning signs, electronic message boards, and barricades will be used to assist motorists traveling through the area. While traveling through the work zone, motorists are urged to use caution, obey the posted speed limit of 35 mph, and seek alternate routes whenever possible. Please be advised that unforeseen circumstances and weather may affect the schedule.
