Jones to speak at Cape Historical Society meeting Nov. 9

Dr. Norman Jones, a self-proclaimed “amateur archaeologist,” will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of the Cape Coral Historical Society, Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 2:30 p.m., at Cultural Park Theatre.
Jones, a long-time part-time Southwest Florida resident who is the former managing director of the Lee County Civic Center, will discuss “Coinage through the Years,” sharing artifacts discovered in recent years.
The meeting is open to the public and there is no admission, and no reservations are required.
The theater is located at 528 Cultural Park Blvd., Cape Coral, next door to the Cape Coral History Museum. The museum is open Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 1-4 p.m.
