Cape High newspaper takes first
The Seahawk’s Eye recently received a First Place evaluation from the National Scholastic Press Association. This is the second year in a row that the Seahawk’s Eye has received first place from this prestigious organization.
Over the last year the Seahawk’s Eye has received 14 awards from the Florida Scholastic Press Association, Quill and Scroll, NSPA, and the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. Among those awards were two sweepstakes winners for advertising design from Quill and Scroll.
The Seahawk’s Eye is moving forward into the 2010-11 school year with 16 seniors on staff and high expectations for academic and competition success. The online edition at seahawkseye.com is expected to be updated and re-launched by Sept. 5 while the first edition of the school year will be available Aug. 27.
