Friends of the Pine Island Library collecting books for sale
The Friends of the Pine Island Library are collecting gently used books for its upcoming book sale on Dec. 11. Donations are needed to guarantee the success of our sale.
There will be two drop off dates when books may be left at the parking lot of Pine Island United Methodist Church, 5701 Pine Island Drive. Friends will be there to receive the gently used books.
• Monday, Oct. 18, 9 a.m. to noon, and 5-7 p.m.
• Monday, Nov. 15, 9 a.m. to noon, and 5-7 p.m.
Donation bins will also be placed after Oct. 19 at the Chamber of Commerce, 10530 Stringfellow Road, #3, and Centennial Bank, 5551 Sunset Lane.
