Kathryn Pruett to celebrate 100th birthday
Long-time Pine Island resident, Kathryn Pruett, will celebrate her 100th birthday at the Flamingo Bay Clubhouse Saturday, Sept. 21. Her children, Marilyn and Mike, will serve light refreshments from noon to 3 p.m.

Kathryn and her husband Cy raised three children in their home in the Flamingo Bay community. Kathryn was always active in community churches and in the schools. She loved music and directed church choirs for 35 years. She enjoyed having family and friends come to her home for parties and get-togethers. Keeping with this practice the children wish to have everyone drop by and wish Kathryn a happy 100th birthday at 4752 Curlew Drive, the clubhouse in the Flamingo Bay community.
